JOWLS were a band that were really hit or miss with me. Each of their releases pressed prior to their demise house one song which is so good that the rest of the album pales in comparison. That's too bad, but getting those stellar songs is without a doubt a positive thing. So instead of me rambling on forever with my opinion of their pros and cons, why not just listen to the songs I've posted and decide if you'd like to hear more. What's that? You'd like to hear more? Okay, download their discography here. I'll say this, they played short, violent, caustic, screamy hardcore with amazing vocals that remind me of Loma Prieta and Carrion Spring the most. Dave out.

note ~ I got to see one of their last shows and it was killer.
