I found it very surreal listening to this podcast again while sitting in the living room of our new home in Dunedin, New Zealand. Going to NZ still felt like a dream when we recorded this fond farewell to Canada back in late May. Oh how we will miss seeing so much amazing Canadian music live! Our love for these bands - and countless other Canadian gems - knows no bounds.

I don't know what to say. Limiting myself to five bands was a poor choice, because there's so much phenomenal screamo/hardcore/metal music that is relatively unknown elsewhere, with a few exceptions. The people are also beautiful, as I've met countless others who share my passion for music as well as for treating humans with respect and decency. Thank you to everyone involved past, present and future in the Canadian music scene. Underneath the podcast details is a list of Canadian bands that you should check out.
