What better way to ramp up for the 25th installment of the Zampler series than with a Zampler-exclusive track getting a music video premiere?!?! Internet trio OUR FUTURE IS AN ABSOLUTE SHADOW are contributing "Lisa's Hitz4Hits Extravaganza" to the bi-annual compilation on Zegema Beach Records and features members who have spent time in Old Soul, Cloud Rat, Majorel, Apostles Of Eris, Mourn Recif, etc. and have two splits coming out this year including a 7" with Lucidity and a 4-way 12" with Inosuke, Letterbombs, and Mt. Ida.
The song being premiered today, at least lyrically, will be confusing as all hell to the listeners, but as I wrote them suckas I can give you the origin. I play NHL Hitz 2003 every day. EVERY. FUCKING. DAY. When my partner Lisa and I play this game on the Wii (from a Gamecube disc) there are rules to follow. There are heroes to commemorate. Memories to cherish. And glitches that break brains. It's my religion, and this is my offering to the Hitz Godz.
