In 2022 I met AJ Currier and his crew waiting outside of the ZBR Fest pre-show and we all hit it off instantly. The following year Tomb Tree helped release both COLACON and HOLLY CAUGHT A CONTACT HIGH on cassette. In 2024 COLACON played ZBR Fest and Tomb Tree released their debut album on 12". So obviously this podcast is a long time coming. Besides talking about those bands and being generally hilarious/informative, he also touched on: playing in Scarlet O'Hara/Madelyn Pryor/RaiseUp!/With Winter Upon Us/Kerberos, mispronouncing COLACON, screaming in cars, Psyopus melts the brain, working 94.5 hours in one week, COLACON's first show, ZBR Fest through the years, trusting strangers, defining "slam", the story of the vaulted Senza material and a new jam, accidentally anonymous, Sean Klotz the Hype Man, High Pitch Rich, upcoming Vamonos Tapes news, etc. Bands played in this podcast: Clot, Detach The Islands, Graf Orlock, Peeling Flesh, Rorcal, and Senza.
