Life is good. The music coming out this year has been stellar. I can't wait to do a top 10 or 20 list in December/January! And there will be 2 year-end mp3 mixes as well! Happy days.
Speaking of happy days, AMBER's self-titled test presses arrived at Zegema Beach Records a few weeks ago so pre-orders will officially launch November 19th, 2013! This bad boy is limited to a mere 300 copies so go to www.zegemabeachrecords.com to order. DESCUBRIENDO A MR. MIME pre-orders are still up and are limited to 250, only 50 of which will end up in North America. LA PARADE goes to press in the next week or two and should be out in January 2014. ICE HOCKEY's 7" also goes to press this month and should be out in January as well, and is limited to 300 copies.
I have also included a page specifically for submitted material to the blog. There are currently 8 bands who have submitted stuff that will go up, 1 per day. If you think your band jives with this blog, send me your link and I'll post it. Check it out here, and tell your musician-type friendies to do the same and submit their stuff. It's linked to the Zegema Beach Records site.

As always, on or around the 1st of every month, I will be posting a ZIP file with songs for the upcoming month with ALL specifics deleted from the tags, so unless you already know the band, there is NO information regarding each track.
During the following month, I will post reviews for those bands and link the tracks to the review so you can associate the two together. This way you can listen to a new song/band and have little-to-no bias. Below, I have reposted the October mp3 mix that is used for the November reviews. This mix will be reviewed during this month of November and the first band will be reviewed on the Tuesday, November 5th.

The NEW (November mp3s/December reviews) mix will is posted below and is pretty goddamn heavy. I think there one song without screaming. Yep, just one. To be a bit more detailed, included is:
