I've never heard anyone mention this band. Ever. So I'll quickly throw this post up, as they are long since defunct and although they were pretty sweet, The name? MR. WILLIS OF OHIO. From where? Switzerland. I don't love them enough to write a big ass piece on them. That being said, you should definitely check out this band for some obscure European screamo. There were a few bands doing this kind of soft screamy hardcore with twinkly bit almost ten years ago and I would include bands like Yage, Belle Epoque and Catena Collapse in that niche scene. Their 2007 material sounds like Elvish screamo and exemplifies the band most, in my book. The early 2005 'Demo' is much heavier with more screamy vocals which are closer to Lakmé and The Flying Worker. In 2008 the band certainly hit their peak, with 'Eure Welt' being an amazing release. The 7" reminds me even more of Yage but with a hint of more Level Plane stuff as the vocals have partially reverted back to heavier screams and the instrumentals are crazier or more laid back depending on the section of the song.

Crazy side note, the guitarist Marianne is the founder of Ape Must Not Kill Ape Records, one of the best record labels ever! All of the mp3s (with the exception of the 4-way split) are ripped from my vinyl almost 10 years ago and are surprisingly fantastic quality! Download their discography below and enjoy this relatively obscure screamo band.
