A/N/D gives you three songs that show off a good deal of diversity in the band's cannon. There's a blown out quality to the production which presents the band with a very raw sound. I can't help but feel that A/N/D sounds like some mid 90's bands that I would often hear on labels like Ebullition, Old Glory, etc. They have a unique approach in their song writing that never goes too over the top, but opts to expand on traditional tempos and melodies.
Each instrument carries it's own weight here. The guitar playing illustrates some nice skills, showcasing dense reverb walls of sound, single note gymnastics and driving chords. Drum-wise we're definitely getting someone that has the ability to take the songs out of traditional time signatures and get interesting.
The desperate vocals add that last layer to complete the mid 90's sound. There's a bit of restraint that seems to be practiced with the screams that lends itself really well over this music. All in all, a good package of three songs!
